Nomad Bandit Hacker

The noble Bandit will provide me with a Killer Hacker for my Corregidor. It will also give me a camo marker to deploy witch will hopefully keep my opponents guessing!

I really like the model itself, especially the 'Jason' mask she has on and the matching machete!! I have another Bandit to paint up at some point as well, but i think the Bandit will see quite  a few appearances in my lists. I hope you like this one!

Nomad Daktari and Zondbot

In order to try and keep my troops alive for a bit longer i needed a Doctor. I chose the Daktari to fill this role and gave her a Zondbot. 

As i was painting this model up i was thinking "why the hell didn't i choose a Tomcat instead??" I'm not really sure why i went with the Daktari! Don't get me wrong, I like the model and her stats. You just get a bit more bang with your buck with a tomcat (light flame thrower, AD, super jump) which i imagine will make a Tomcat a more suitable Doctor choice. 

Never mind, i'll just have to get the Tomcat box ordered in!

Nomad Alguaciles

In order to get some more specialists into my list i added two Alguaciles; one is a FO and the other a Hacker. It will also give me a bit more utility for the tournament missions. 

Sadly at the time of writing and subsequently painting up these lists for the tournament, the actual missions to be played were not available. also i've never played Corregidor before or either of the lists i've written! It certainly will be a hell of a play test! No doubt i'll be making a few changes after the tournament!

Nomad Jaguars

Welcome back readers to Crit Seekers first hobby post!

Over the next few weeks i'll be showcasing the models i've been preparing for a tournament this weekend at Firestorm Games in Cardiff, 'Operation Firestorm II'. As a rule i never play with unpainted models and always try to make sure thats the case for tournaments. I find it a good way to motivate me to paint my armies up faster! As such i've been working on a new Nomad sectorial force in the form of a Corregidor army for Operation Firestorm II. At the time of this post i only have 1 more model to complete before the tournament which will conclude two and a half months worth of frantic painting!!

First up is a pair of Jaguars. One with a Light Shotgun (which will proxy as a Chain Rifle) and another with an actual Chain Rifle!

Welcome to Crit Seeker!

Welcome readers to my corner of the Human Sphere!

This is new blog dedicated (mostly!) to the game of Infinity!

For 7 years i had previously been uploading content onto my previous blog 'A Guardsmans Guide to Glory', but having now fully shifed game systems away from 40K/30K i decided to re-brand! If you  are a returning reader from AGGTG, then you can still find all the content that was on that blog on this one, simply browse the tags or search the site.

If your new to the site, then you can expect a butt load of Infinity content, as well as the occasional Dropfleet Commander and X-Wing post! Its quite an exciting time to be a wargamer with so may exciting new games being released, so they'll definately be the odd 'non-Infinity' piece of content sneaking in!

Due to work commitments its not always easy to find time to upload onto the blog, so if you want to stay fully up to date with Crit Seeker, then the best way to do that if follow me on Facebook and Twitter where i regularly post!

Infinity - Aleph HVT and Thorakite with Combi Rifle

A few more Infinity models for you this week! I've been working hard on some of my Aleph models needed for a tournament at Firestorm Games in Cardiff this weekend. I have decided to go Vanilla Aleph for this tournament, as i took Steel Phalanx to a narrative tournament in Cheltenham a few weeks ago (and won best painted army, as well as the most epic game moment!) So time to mix it up this time.

First up is my HVT. Not essential for my army, but i've been using a Joan of Arc model as my HVT for over a year now, so its time to get a proper one done!

I really enjoyed working with the large flat (ish) areas on this model, as it gave me more of an opportunity to practice my shading and blending. It was also my first time painting white in this way, which was an experience! Not an easy colour to paint.

This Thorakite with Combi Rifle swiftly followed the HVT, completing the list needed for this weekend. This guy will be a cheeleader really, providing an extra order and specialist (Paramedic) to my second combat group.

The tournament is this Saturday, so come back next week to see how i did! Once thats out of the way i have lined myself up a 'treat model' for my Custodians in the form of.....well, you'll see!

Infinity - Nomad Wildcats

After the sucess of the first Wildcat, i was keen to start getting through a few of the others to get this force up and running. These two Wildcats are armed with combi rifles and are included in the Corredigor Juristictional Command starter set.

Happy with the colour scheme i tried on the Spitfire, i did the same on the combi's. Still loving this army!!

Here are all three of the Wildcats together! I have one more combi Wildcat on the table which i hope to get finished soon, but i need some Aleph doing for an upcoming tourney.
